With three sessions of deeply relaxing floatation therapy – also known as sensory deprivation – you can experience the full benefits of meditative floating, expand mental awareness and increase the effectiveness of your immune system. All while doing absolutely nothing!

The first floatation tank was developed in 1954 by American neuroscientists to study the effects of removing external stimuli. Since then, studies have shown floatation therapy to promote clarity of thought and increased concentration and creativity, as well as aiding in healing and muscle recovery. Floating has been shown to improve sleep patterns and an hour-long session is even thought to match 4 hours of sleep for its restive qualities. Perfect if you're overworked!

You'll float on water thick with magnesium-rich Epsom salt without exerting any effort. Cut off from any external disturbances, you'll experience complete tranquility. Although the door can be safely opened from the inside, in case you do get overwhelmed, you're unlikely to even notice the hour's up! (Luckily you'll have 2 more sessions remaining!)

Detailed Information

  • Duration of experience: Each session is an hour long
  • Music can be arranged for the sessions if desired
  • Please avoid shaving or waxing on the day of your float
  • Avoid stimulants such as caffeine prior to your float
  • Avoid over- or under-eating beforehand (a light meal 1–2 hours prior is ideal)
