If you adore beautiful and wild scenery, come along on the Heartbeat Tour of Yorkshire. You’ll spend the day touring the North York Moors and some of the charming towns and villages there while you’re guide gives you the scoop on filming locations from the hit drama series.

Start off with a wander round charming Pickering, a frequent filming location for the show, before setting off for salty, seaside Whitby. This romantic harbour town not only is the stand-in for Ashfordley on Heartbeat, but boasts a ruined abbey that inspired Bram Stoker’s gothic novel Dracula! Spend the rest of the day in quaint Goathland, which served as Aidensfield on the programme. You’ll see Scripps Garage and Funeral Parlour amongst several other scene-shooting sites.

There’s also a visit to a nearby train station that has served not only as Aidensfield Station, but also as Hogsmeade Station in the first of the Harry Potter films. There will be plenty of time for photos and refreshments along the way.

What's included:

  • Get a lovely long look at the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside
  • Visit both Ashfordley and Aidensfield, the fictional villages in Heartbeat
  • Snap a photo in front of Scripps Garage and Funeral Parlour
  • Refresh yourself with a drink at the Aidensfield Arms Pub
  • Learn more about this region full of history and cultural charm
